Biography

Anggit Bestari (born 1992) shows strong interest in art since early age. Unfortunately due to Indonesian academic system, Anggit had to study subjects that weren’t her interest as no high school there focusing on art subjects. Therefore she could only explore art in her very little free time. She taught herself how to draw, paint, illustrate, take photographs and videos, while majoring Science in high school.

Anggit decided to study abroad to pursue her passion in art. Her love of learning and challenging herself to something new made her to major in different art disciplines. She graduated from UK university very well-known for being one of the best universities for Film Production in the country, Arts University Bournemouth. She continued her art exploration at the most prestigious university in South Korea, Seoul National University, majoring in Fine Arts Oriental Painting.

As Anggit is very well-rounded, her art influence one another. Her fine art touch can be seen in her photography, and her approach on videography can be seen in her fine art work. She gets her inspiration from everything, ranging from different art disciplines like animation, painting, films, illustration, photography, music to everyday mundane life, social issues, nature, animals, people, philosophy, the universe.

Developing oneself is a life-long journey. It is a never-ending process that one should pursue to become a better self. That is what she believes in. She is looking forward to learn more art branches, to study more in different institutions. She currently speaks four languages languages and learning French as her fifth.
